Michael A.  Pilgrim
Elder Michael Anthony Pilgrim Sr.was born on May 21, 1954 in Asheville North Carolina to the Late Helen Bailey and Ralph Pilgrim. On Thursday November 11, 2021, Elder Pilgrim answered when the Lord came to call at the Calvary Hospital Bronx NY.
Michael Worked for New York State at Rockland psychiatric Center in orangeburg New York as a transportation operator and retired August 2019. Michael took pride in his job and was always available to help anyone in need. He was very skilled and loved working with his hands, especially around the house.
Most importantly, Elder Pilgrim loved the Lord with all his heart.
Elder Pilgrim was always at every opportunity He had, He share God‘s word. He kept himself ready for God service through fasting ,Praying, and studying God’s word. He enjoyed teaching and expounding on God’s word and even though his conversation with other He made Christ known.

Elder Pilgrim met Sheila his wife and they were married on October 12, 2018. From that union, a blessing of a blended family of 10 children.
Michael’s was Predeceased by his parents Mary and Ralph, his son Michael A.Pilgrim Jr., 6 siblings Leroy,Ralph Jr., Clarence, Robert, Jacynthia and Delores.
Elder Pilgrim fellowshipped and adopted the Best temple COGIC Newburgh NY, where Pastor Milton . Best except him with open arms. He enjoyed every service and often stayed just to enjoy conversation with Pastor Best.
He also fellowshipped and participated through the zoom platform with the Faith Temple Church of the Living God/ COCWIH, Spring Valley NY where Pastor Byron Manning Sr., Pastor Michael Riley Sr. the Church Without Borders New City NY and
The ICU: intercessory Consecration unit Of Praise Power and deliverance. Evangelist/Pastor Vera L. Brown and Minister Horace S. Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Deac’ess Sheila M Pilgrim. 2 Sisters, Mrs. Gloria Young of Fletcher NC, Pastor Dorisel Hansford (Husband Prophet Leonard Hansford) and the Jesus Alone Church family ,Paterson NJ.
Sons Joshua Pilgrim,Jonathan Pilgrim and Daughter Hope Pilgrim all of Roanoke Rapids NC, Ny’Kia Cole(Preshod)Greensboro,NC , Roger C. Harris II, New Windsor NY., La’Terra McGee ,Winston Salem NC, Christopher Harris, Stone Mountain Ga. Stephanie Melay, East Orange NJ, and Jennifer Grimshaw(Tony) Nyack NY. 17 grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and friend. He will truly be missed.
