Obituary for Vahan Parseghian
Vaughn “Brud” Parseghian 75 of Northvale NJ passed away in Dec 7, 2021 at his home in Chapel Hill, NC after bravely fighting a long illness.
Vaughn grew up in River Edge & Demarest. After graduating high school in 1965 he entered the Army and spent over a year in Vietnam.
He is survived by daughters Tanya Dellolio and son in law Nicholas of Stony Point, NY Stacey Lustig and son in law Josh of Morrisville, NC and 4 grandchildren Elizabeth, Angela, Jared, & Landon.
He is also survived by his brothers Edward and Richard as well as his former wife Alexis Pojafsky, many cousins, 4 nephews and a niece.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Leona, brother Gene and twin sister Margo.
The family will receive friends Thursday 12/16 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Hannemanns Funeral Home in Nyack NY. A graveside service will be held Friday 12/17 at 10:30 am at the Rockland County Veterans Cemetery in Spring Valley NY.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to HDSA. org or the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
