Obituary for Janet King Nagele DeFillippo

Janet King Nagele DeFillippo, 81, formerly of West New York, Teaneck, and Toms River passed away peacefully on Sunday March 19th. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, she was surrounded by family at the time of her passing. While we are truly saddened and heartbroken by her passing, there is comfort in knowing that peace has at last found her and that she is finally in the warm embrace of all those loved ones who were there to greet her.

Janet is survived by her daughters Nancy Lee Anthony (Chuck Anthony) and Lee-Ann Taylor (Miles Taylor), her sister Jean Arlotta, her stepson Mark DeFillippo (Frannie DeFillippo), her grandchildren AJ Genung (Jenna Genung), Kristy Genung, Nick Anthony, Michael Nagele (Lexi Nagele), Frankie DeFillippo, Darius Taylor, and Sidney Taylor, her great-grandchildren Noah, Mackenzie, Liam, and Kara Genung, her niece Janet Arlotta, great-nephew Ian and great-nieces Maya and Tia, and numerous life long friends.

Janet is predeceased by her husband John DeFillippo and her daughter Barbara Ann Nagele.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a service at Hannemann Funeral Home on Thursday, March 23rd from 12:00-2:00 pm.
