Obituary for Jeanine Duroc
Jeanine Duroc, a longtime resident of Nyack, NY, passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2023 at Northern Riverview Nursing Home. She was 85 years old. Jeanine was born on February 3rd, 1938 in Haiti. She then traveled to the United States around the age of 40, ultimately residing in Rockland County.
She lived a simple and devout life, mainly spending her time at church. She also enjoyed activities such as spending time with her grandchildren as well as cooking. Jeanine was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Jeanine is survived by her two children, Jean Duroc and Nicole Pierre, a son-in-law, Reginald Pierre, and seven grandchildren. Jeanine is also survived by the extended families of Jeremie and Michel.
Her visitation will take place on Friday, August 11th, from 10am-11am at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Nyack, NY. Her funeral mass will follow at 11am, with burial at Gethsemane Cemetery at Rockland Lake State Park Ring Road 10920.
