Obituary for Jasmine Chouloute

Jasmine Chouloute

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jasmine Chouloute, age 56, on Sunday, October 29th, in Middletown, New York. Jasmine born to Jean Leandre Noisette and Irene Alzuphar, born on June 15, 1967, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her journey through life was marked by warmth, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Jasmine's heart was as vibrant as her spirit. She loved to cook, infusing her dishes with flavors of her love. Jasmine was also a songbird, filling the air with the melodies of her voice to some Kompa and Pop music. Also, her love for dancing was infectious, inspiring those around her to join in. But perhaps what we'll cherish the most are her stories. Jasmine was a master storyteller, and her tales were a testament to the power of imagination and the warmth of her heart.

At the age of 7, Jasmine came to the United States, where she pursued her education and graduated from North Rockland High School. She dedicated herself to her work, with roles at Nice Pack and over 20 years at Walmart, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. But, more than anything, Jasmine found true joy in the company of her family, whether in person, through heartfelt phone calls, or in the laughter shared during video chats.

Jasmine shared 26 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jean Pierre Chouloute, and together they raised two cherished children, Travis and Yasmine Chouloute. Within a large and loving family, Jasmine was one of 14 siblings, and her bonds with them were unbreakable.

Jasmine's love for Jesus was not just a personal belief, but a guiding light that she shared with her family and friends, a reminder of the importance of love, compassion, and faith in all our lives. She found solace and strength in her regular prayers; even when circumstances kept her from attending church in person, she would participate from her bedroom through the TV or the internet. Jasmine also faithfully completed her rosary prayers every day. Her connection with God was a source of comfort and guidance leaving behind a legacy of faith that will continue to inspire those who were touched by her love.

The family of Jasmine Chouloute wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her many friends and extended family for the outpouring of love and kindness during this time of loss. Your support has been a source of strength and will forever be remembered as a testament to the love that Jasmine shared with all those fortunate enough to know her.

Jasmine leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her two children, Travis and Yasmine Chouloute, as well as 3 cherished grandchildren; Tyrese Krya and Marcus. She has 27 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who were touched by her love.
