I light this memorial candle to send my condolences to her children and grandchildren. She had 6 sons. That is a big family by today's standards. She cooked for Raymond, mom and I a roast beef dinner once at her home in Connecticut, and it was good. While visiting her pet bird landed on my mom's shoulder, I took a picture. She had an extensive doll collection which she showed my mom and I. She asked us to bring her hanging plants, so we did. This was many years ago. Since then we talked on the phone many times. I sent her "Chicken Soup for the Catholic Soul" which she said she enjoyed reading. She told me some of her recipes. She knew how to cook.
