Susie I. Cook


Susie (mom mom) Cook, 72, of New York, passed away on March 26, 2019 in Warwick, Rhode Island. Susie was born on February 22, 1947 in Painter, VA to the late Charles Fred Doughty and Susie Annie Snead.

Susie loved to play card games with her grandson, Jonathan. Most of all she loved her family.

After leaving New York, she moved to Rhode Island where she worked part-time for NESCTC Security Agency.

Susie is survived by her two children, Shana Velez, her husband Ricardo Velez, her son Theodore Cook Jr, her two grandchildren who she loved dearly, Carlina and Jonathan, her sister Leola Doughty, her uncle Joseph Snead and aunt Evelyn Hall. Susie is pre-deceased by her brother Charles Henry Doughty and her beloved Donald White. She also leaves to mourn a host of cousins and friends.
