Donald E. Hickey
Donald E. Hickey, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the age of 84. Donald was born on April 4, 1935 to the late Thomas and Anna Hickey. He is survived ny his 3 daughters, Donna Singer, Lorrie (Joe) Bonavito and Beth (Tom) Healy. His adored grandchildren, Kristi, Dominick, Brandon, Jared, Kara and Christopher. He was also the loving great grandfather to Grace and Madeline. Don was predeceased by his son in law Jon Singer and his siblings Thomas, John, Mary and Dorothy. Don was a plumber with local 21 and worked at Yonkers Raceway for 30 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2019 from 4PM to 8PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday April 16, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Ann’s RC Church in Nyack, NY.
Donations may be made in Donald’s memory to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Ln., New City, NY 10956.
