Catherine "Kitty" Elizabeth Cymore
January 16th, 1946 - December 1st, 2019
Kitty Cymore passed away at home, December 1st, 2019 with her immediate and extended family at her side.
Born Catherine Elizabeth Snyder in Baltimore, MD and raised in Bronxville, NY, Kitty spent her adult life in Nyack and Wolf Lake, NY. A graduate of Georgian Court College, Kitty enjoyed a highly successful corporate career with Avon Products Inc., holding executive positions in Suffern & Rye, NY and New York City.
While successful in the business world, Kitty's main focus was always her family. Married to her husband, Jim, for 51 years, she was most proud of her two daughters, Amanda Kate and Amy Elizabeth. Kitty had her daughters later in life and was pleased to see them become educated and responsible adults. Kitty will be remembered as a personable, gracious, kind and gentle person with many friends. She possessed an inner and outer beauty.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, and daughters Amanda & Amy (Ian) as well as numerous admiring nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents Mary Madalyn Faut & William Asher Snyder and sister Mary Jean Murtha.
The public is invited to attend a wake which will be held in the Appalachian Room at the Bear Mountain Inn on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 from 2-4pm.
Contributions in Kitty's name can be made to The Caroline Fund at www.carolinefund.org to aid in the funding of Glioblastoma Multiforme research.
