Florence Kopac (nee Taylor)
Florence was born in Closter, NJ on March 9, 1919 to Perry and Anna Taylor. Flo was predeceased by her beloved husband John (Corky) of 61 years in 1999. She had 4 sisters, Anna Taylor, Elizabeth Byrnes, Ruth D’Amico and Esther Lynch and 2 brothers, Henry Taylor and Perry Taylor all deceased.
Florence lived all of her married life in Piermont. She moved to Thorpe Village in 1999 and lived independently until moving to Bergen County Healthcare Center in Rockleigh, NJ in 2018.
She is survived by her son Frank Kopac (Arlene, deceased) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Richard Kopac and his wife Pat of Blauvelt, NY, and Patricia Dampf and her husband Richard of Monroe, NY.
Florence was blessed with 8 loving grandchildren. April Gager (Bob) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelly Minch of Norwood, NJ, Jaye Brazzale (Robert) of Barnegat NJ, Joe Bolger of Ft. Wayne, IN, Stacy Gagg (Chris) of Queensbury, NY, Tracy Silva (Paul) of Blauvelt, NY, David Dampf (Ellen) of North Attleboro, MA and Caitlyn Kopac of Blauvelt, NY. Florence also had 6 great grandchildren, Alyssa and Karlee Gagg, Jake and Jessica Silva and Adam and Jillian Tate. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Florence was a very talented seamstress. She sewed many beautiful dresses for her daughter Pat and did alterations for friends and family. She enjoyed bowling, taking walks thru the village and greeting everyone she met with a warm smile, Flo never had a bad word to say about anyone, she loved life. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be truly missed by family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at Rockland Cemetery on Saturday Dec. 19, 2020 at 11 AM
