Obituary for Vilma Ann Georgetti

Vilma Ann Georgetti
Vilma A. Georgetti a longtime Nyack resident passed away on May 4, 2021, she was 93 years old. Vilma was born in Carbondale, PA on March 29, 1928 to Anthony and Francis Georgetti. Her family moved to Nyack, in 1950. Vilma was employed by Nyack Hospital for over 40 years running the medical Laboratory. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Nyack and a member of the church choir. Vilma moved to Dowling Gardens in Sparkill, NY in 2016.
She is survived by two sisters; Hilda M. Bestard of Sparkill, NY and Sylvia A. Miraglia of Tappan, NY and a nephew John Miraglia of Tappan, NY. Vilma is predeceased by two brother in laws; Jake and Frank.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12:30 PM at St. Ann’s RC Church in Nyack, NY. Visiting will be held from 11:30 AM until 12:30PM at the church. Interment will follow at St. Antony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
