Obituary for Elizabeth Wilson
Elizabeth Wilson was born on October 22, 1934 in Celina, TN. She passed peacefully on May 10, 2021 at Chestnut Hill Lodge in Wyncote, PA. Elizabeth was affectionately known as “Paige.”
Elizabeth moved to New York after graduating from high school. She was employed at Rockland State Psychiatric Hospital and then went on to work for Spotlight Cleaners for many years until she retired. After retirement, Elizabeth became a full time home maker until moving to Philadelphia, PA, six years ago to live with her daughter, Donna.
Elizabeth was an amazing cook. She loved to cook for others and admired the unification of the family through each meal. She also loved listening to Al Green and watching her stories faithfully.
Elizabeth is survived by her beloved children, Dr. Donna Wilson, Andre Wilson, Jomo (Denise) Wilson, and grandchild, Bria Wilson; her beloved sisters, Rosa L. Williams, Celina, TN., Elise Verble, Annie Belle Page and Mary Jo (Billy) Hamilton all of Louisville, KY.
She is also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren and dear friends.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her beloved brothers Thomas Page and William Robert Page.
