Obituary for Catherine J. Gallo
Catherine (Cathy) Gallo was a caring wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. She passed
peacefully at home on October 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She loved creating delicious meals for her family. She looked forward to making every Holiday
special and every gathering a lasting memory.
Cathy will be missed especially by her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours
stroller pushing, playing cards, attending sporting events, dance recitals, and plays.
Cathy was proud of her years as an Orangetown crossing guard. She spoke fondly of the
children she interacted with each day. She will be sorely missed by the community.
Family & friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday October 19th from 4pm to
8pm in the Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 South Broadway, Nyack,NY. Mass to follow on
Thursday October 20th,11 am, Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, 16 Jefferson St, Nyack, NY.
