Obituary for Ester M. Hayes

Ester Mae (Thompson) Hayes was born June 7, 1951 to the late Annie R. and Willie M. Thompson Sr. in Fayetteville, NC. The family moved to Newburgh, NY where Ester graduated from Newburgh Free Academy high school in 1969. Ester was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Newburgh. She moved to Spring Valley N.Y. with her mother and three siblings where she also later raised her children.
She leaves to mourn her, five children Sherice Thompson White, Kenneth Logan, Adrian Logan (Sandra), Yoshunda Blunt (Eric) and Shannon Fuller. Nineteen grandchildren Iesha Thompson, Ancriso White II, Lourdes Logan, Kenneth Logan Jr., Gabriel Logan, Maria Logan, Mason Logan, Caleb Logan, Kayden Logan, Christine Logan, Brittany Logan, Crystal Logan, Joshua Ridore, Carida Ridore, Kayita Ridore, Imani Thompson, Makiah Blunt, Tony Blunt, Devin Blunt, one sister Saundra Lanier of West Palm Beach, FL and one aunt, the Rev. Mrs. Ida M. Jones, of Fayetteville, NC, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends Pat Hardy, Jody Foreman, Norma Jean Hawkins, and Rosemary Benjamin.
