Obituary for Ruth A. Coffey
Ruth A Coffey age 89 of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 5, 2024. Ruth was born on July 28, 1934 in Piermont, NY to Clare & John O’Hara.
Ruth was pre-deceased by her grandson Michael J. Coffey Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Thomas G. Coffey, her children Clare Mulqueen (Michael), Thomas G. Coffey Jr (Catherine), Michael J Coffey (Jeanne) and James P. Coffey.
She is also survived by her brother George O’Hara (Betty) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Ruth was totally devoted to her family and will be truly missed.
Visiting on Monday April 8, 2024 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 1 PM at St. Aedan’s RC Church in Pearl River, NY. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery Sparkill, NY.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Ruth’s name to United Hospice of Rockland or the American Diabetes Association.
