Condolences

Condolence From: David L Dickson
Condolence: Some fond rememberences for Joe's family-

Back in the seventies my wife and I bought our first house in Nyack at 77 N. Midland Ave. With our first child on the way we were working on a very tight budget and made due with aging cars that needed constant attention. Joe was literally a block away so we quickly developed a relationship with him. He was always able to help us for a reasonable cost and good advice. Over about a 46 year period we saw Joe often with many cars that we were able to keep with his help. We got to know Mrs. Moger, both of his children and a grandson. Joe was able to help me get our daughter involved with Bergen's Best socccer which led to her playing for Nyack and even in Uruguay. It was a pleasure getting to know Joe and we are grateful to have known him and for his skill, honesty, and great attitude. We are so sorry for your loss and personally feel it as well. With love, David and Honey Dickson

Condolence: To All,

I met Joe as a kid because of my first VW. He was working for someone else on 9W before he opened Moger's He never called me by my first name and I always called him Mr Moger. Now that I think about that I may have gotten that from Elizabeth because it cracked me up when she did it I loved his garden and shared my hot pepper crop with him. Rest in peace, Mr. Moger.

Condolence: Dear Mr. Moger,
Thanks so much for a lifetime of good works.
I was always a huge fan of soccer, basketball and many other sports but I think you surpassed me when it came to dedication.
Thanks as well for your ability to keep all my cars running so smoothly over these many years.
Nyack won't be the same without you, but I bet you'll soon be playing on a heavenly pitch with Pele, Beckenbauer and the rest of your favorite stars!

Condolence: Our deepest condolences for the loss of such a great person. In addition to being the best mechanic, he was an amazing soccer player and it was a joy to watch him play in the over 50 men's league. We, along with the rest of the Nyack Community will miss him.
