Dear Noel -- My heart goes out to you. It was so sad to learn from Ed Thompson that Tony has gone on to his new life in Christ. I have so many memories of Tony -- including the lunchtime celebration of his 30th birthday at a bistro in Pleasantville! Tony was an outstanding editor, who taught me the fine art of editing for Reader's Digest. Tony was Executive Editor on my first issue as Issue Editor. Not only did he guide me through that issue, but challenged me to continue to improve my skills. I shall never forget him. Noel, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers in the months ahead.
