I met Jim several years ago at Nyack Manor. My mom & I met him and his mom Brenda one day and just started talking. Turned out he knew some relatives of mine, but we talked about so many different things throughout the years each time I visited him. He always had a smile on his face no matter what. No matter how he was feeling, he always asked how I was doing and wanted me to talk about myself or anything that was on my mind. Talk about a selfless person! He never, ever complained either. I don't think that I ever met a kinder person. I am beyond heartbroken. After my Mom passed there in August, I never went back to visit. Just for one more hug. Brenda, I am so sorry for the loss. I know you're strong & your faith is strong, but you have my sincerest condolences. Never a day or night that you were not there by his side, he knew how much he was loved. I was always able to see where he got his very kind & warm personality from. Love & hugs... and Rest in Paradise my sweet friend.
