I wanted to just share my thanks to Scott for the friendship he extended to me during the time we shared as members of Elmwood Playhouse. In general, I am not comfortable talking to people about topics that are emotional and close to my heart. Scott was quite intuitive in recognizing emotion and happened to start a conversation with me a number of years ago inquiring as to how I was doing. My father had very recently passed (after a short illness) and he was very empathetic and consoling. He had his own experiences to share and I came to respect him as a human being (beyond his acting and creative talents) that had a graciousness of heart that you do not often find in life. Additionally, he was very supportive as a mentor at the theater. Being relatively new to Elmwood and acting in general, I found (and still find) going to auditions somewhat daunting. As many know, community theater can be quite competitive and you have to have a stalwartness that I can't always access. At a certain point, I gave up a little on auditioning. He would encourage me to be confident and not give up. I appreciated his coaching very much and hope he somewhat realized how much it meant to me. Dear Scott, you will be missed and I thank you for your friendship. God Bless and Keep Your Family Safe.
